OTM Mag | SPRINGFEST March 20 🔥 Inside Onye’s Live Showcase for Local Artists

For Onye, the Bay Area isn’t just another tour stop—it’s personal.

After spending time in San Francisco in 2006 and building strong ties to Oakland, the Bay became a second home. That connection shaped how he approaches live entertainment—focusing on community, creativity, and giving artists a real platform. That same mentality drives the Play to the Bay Tour and the monthly showcases that continue to grow.

“ONE MONKEY DON’T STOP NO SHOW.”

Like many promoters, Onye’s journey started small. His very first comedy show had only two people in the room

WATCH FULL INTERVIEW

Like many promoters, Onye’s journey started small. His very first comedy show had only two people in the room—himself and the comedian. Instead of quitting, he kept building. Over the past fifteen years, those humble beginnings have grown into full productions featuring multiple stages, vendors, and crowds of hundreds.

The philosophy is simple: “One monkey don’t stop no show.”

Early challenges taught him how to adapt. Some venues didn’t understand the vision or lacked the right atmosphere, so the team learned to bring their own elements—portable stages, lighting, décor, and photo activations—to transform almost any location into a creative hub. That same formula now works in everything from Oakland venues to Phoenix event spaces.

THE MONTHLY SHOWCASES THAT CONTINUE TO GROW.

What makes the shows stand out is the balance of entertainment and opportunity. Events feature local artist performances in Oakland, Atlanta, Houston and Phoenix, with stages open to rappers, comedians, poets, dancers, and visual artists. The focus is always on creating an inclusive space where creativity thrives while keeping tickets affordable for the community.

Certain moments confirmed the formula works. One 420 celebration in Los Angeles drew nearly 420 attendees, while early stops of the Play to the Bay Tour in Oakland packed rooms with artists and fans eager for authentic live entertainment.

Now the movement is expanding. With the upcoming Hollywood to Houston run, Onye continues bringing the same culture and creative energy to new cities—connecting artists, vendors, and audiences along the way.

At its core, the mission remains simple: build real platforms for creators.

TrappinNLondon Talks Float2London, Music Production & Grind from Internship | OTM Mag Exclusive

If you’ve ever searched for a hip hop music producer near me, the journey usually starts long before the spotlight. TrappinNLondon carries a sound that blends Southern soul with trap grit — fluid, emotional, and unmistakably street. His rise into professional music production services wasn’t overnight. It was built on late nights, studio sweat, and a refusal to treat music like a hobby.

Roots: Tupelo to Atlanta Recording Studios

Born in Tupelo, Mississippi, he later moved to Atlanta and immersed himself in nearly a decade of professional recording studio services. He started as an intern, learning engineering and mastering studio recording & engineering services from the ground up.

Engineering became the foundation. Understanding how records are structured and mixed gave him an advantage beyond being just another beat maker.

The Hustle: From Internship to Creative Producer for Hire

The transition from intern to respected engineer and creative producer for hire rarely looks glamorous. It’s long hours, unpaid grind, and staying present when opportunity knocks.

That consistency built real relationships — including work connected to K Camp’s Rare Sound circle. The formula was simple:

Make beats.
Stay ready.
Be in the room.

That’s how top hip hop beat makers separate themselves — preparation over promotion.

The Turning Point: Choosing Music Full-Time

At one point, TrappinNLondon took a temporary job outside music. After one day, he walked away.

“I don’t want to work no job no more. I want to just get strictly on music.”

That leap shifted him into full commitment. Paid engineering sessions funded more production time, expanding his reach through independent music producer networks and studio collaborations.

Beyond Beats: Full-Service Media & Music Production

Today, the modern producer is more than audio. Artists need branding, visuals, and rollout strategy. That’s where full-service media & music production comes in — combining studio sessions with music video production services and editorial storytelling.

For creatives searching for affordable music producer and studio services, the real value is having everything under one roof.

MacChoppa: From Memphis Roots to Phoenix Rise

Every city has a sound. Memphis is known for gritty, bass-heavy trap and authentic street storytelling. Phoenix is known for its growing independent hustle and creative underground scene. MacChoppa is the artist connecting both worlds.

Born in Memphis and now making noise in Phoenix, MacChoppa brings unapologetic Southern energy to the West Coast desert. His cadence, confidence, and beat selection reflect the influence of Memphis heavyweights like Moneybagg Yo, while his deep, commanding vocal tone often draws comparisons to 2 Chainz.

But MacChoppa isn’t copying — he’s carving

In the underground Memphis rap tradition, MacChoppa brings a fresh perspective to the Phoenix hip-hop artist scene. His music videos, shot in iconic locations like the Red Zone near I-17 and 27th Avenue, blend desert hustle with Southern swagger

Beyond the music itself, MacChoppa’s latest visual was powered by OTM Magazine’s signature iPhone Music Video Special, proving you don’t need a Hollywood budget to create cinematic, high-impact content. OTM Magazine is currently offering limited iPhone music video packages designed specifically for Phoenix hip-hop artists, independent hip-hop artists, and emerging rap artists 2026 looking to build their brand fast. If you know an artist in the Arizona rap scene or someone connected to the Memphis hip-hop legacy who needs visuals, promo clips, and digital-ready content — now is the time. Spots are limited, and this offer is moving expeditiously. Secure your iPhone music video with OTM Magazine as soon as possible before the window closes.
